Bastet Noir is a sustainable, zero waste, slow-fashion clothing label whose designs are made to order specifically to clients' measurements. Every piece is made out of discarded materials and produced locally by a community of women single parents in North Macedonia. 

Bastet Noir is one of the first platforms to start offering custom-made designs from independent designers and has managed to attract international designers and brands like Espalier, Solkissed, and Jessica DeCarlo. But the most special thing about the platform, I would say is the team behind it. Although small (we’re a team of 7 people), these people are the driving force behind the brand.

Our custom, made to order bespoke clothing is created to suit your personal style and fit, flatter, and follow your body shape.  We don't believe in sizes, because every body is different. 

We believe in sustainability and consuming fashion responsibility. That's why we have a no-waste policy. Every piece of clothing is tailor-made to the customer's measurements and produced only when a customer orders it. Our on-demand production eliminates waste and promotes sustainability by not keeping inventory and making slow-fashion that is high quality and personalized to fit you perfectly.

Our pieces are manufactured in small production studios in North Macedonia by Women single parents and women micro-entrepreneurs. Every item purchased contributes to their welfare and helps them educate and raise their children in a country where their average monthly income is only 300 EUR. By supporting this local community, we aim to help these women not just live above the poverty line, but also grow their businesses. 

Founded by Daniela Milosheshka who started Bastet Noir, to be a platform for Balkan designers and a way of promotion for their products. I wanted to create something that will help them get their brand name out of the boundaries of Balkan countries and be able to ship their products across the world. However, in the first year when we started out, we’ve noticed that customers were looking for affordable made to measure designs and were willing to spend more money on that. So that’s how we’ve changed the concept of the platform and focused more on developing a custom-made feature, where people can come and enter their measurement details and designers will be able to create a custom-made order for that specific customer.

EVERY THREE MONTHS WE MAKE SURE TO SUPPORT A CAUSE THAT'S DEAR TO US. SO HERE'S A LIST OF CAUSES AND CHARITIES WE'VE SUPPORTED AND ARE PLANNING ON SUPPORTING IN 2020. THIS LIST WILL BE ONGOING, SO WE'LL BE UPDATING IT EVERY THREE MONTHS.

DECEMBER 2019 & JANUARY 2020 - WE DONATED 10% AND 50% RESPECTIVELY OF OUR PROFIT TO WIRES TO HELP THEM FIGHT THE MONSTROUS WILDFIRES RAGING THAT KILLED 30% OF THE KOALA POPULATION.

JUNE 2020 - WE'VE DONATED 15% OF OUR PROFIT TO THE OFFICIAL GEORGE FLOYD MEMORIAL FUND TO HELP THE INJUSTICE AND SUPPORT THE BLACK LIVES MATTER MOVEMENT. 

JULY 2020 - WE ESTABLISHED A SPECIAL FUND FOR OUR SMALL COMMUNITY OF WOMEN SINGLE PARENTS.
